  Does ANY posting get through to the net?

     Hey folks, I'm sitting here at home during forum reconstruction, and am

     wondering how things are going. If anyone wouldn't mind, gimme a call,
     I'd

     like to know. 741-0391. I'm here at home, and ill. I got through the
     entire

     semester (almost) without getting sick. Now I've been sick almost weekly

     since the first day of finals! ARGH!

     On a lighter note, it may interest some people to know that I was forced

     to come out to my parents 2 days before Christmas! :) That was a fun

     experience. My dad wants me to talk to a priest, my mom is *trying* to
     cope,

     so i can't complain about her :)

     On an obnoxious note: I finally got my OS/2 Warp Slip software running.

     The bloody software doesn't let you know how to configure it. Sometimes
     it

     wants an IP, sometimes it wants a hostname. Anyway, I have my computer

     connected directly to the Net :) Which means that I can ftp, telnet, and
     do a

     LOT of funky stuff. If you notice, I'm ****@F****.****i.com :) I also
     will be

     able to reserve forum.com or sf4m.com if forum.com is taken already. So

     when we want to, we can computerize the forum a lot more. It helps
     dating

     one of the sysadmins of one of the fastest growing internet providers in
     the

     northeast :)

         My family has never been as sick as this fall. I put it down to
         oldest

         son Sean going to kindergarden and bringing home bugs of death, but

         it's just "The Stand" all over again...

         Happy happy joy joy. Hang in there, acquaintances of mine who have
         come

         out to their parents have generally not been greeted with squeals of
         joy,

         but usually accomodation then acceptance grow over time.

         I would reserve sf4m.org or sfforum.org, since we are an
         organization and
