ALT.SF4M Wallace and Grommitt • m******n@m****.***.*****n.edu 23/03/1995 02:44:57 UTC Greetings everyone. At one of their animation festivals last year, New Community Cinema showed a piece titled "The Wrong Trousers" which was, by far, the best thing there. Tonight I caught the tail end of a PBS special on it. With some luck, the New York stations will be showing it later in the week. If so, I would strongly recommend that everyone try to see it. Also, if it has already been shown, and somebody managed to get it on video tape, please let me know. If I see it scheduled again, I'm going to tape it on fast speed, on its own tape. I also let the Madonias know about it. JAM likes to tape these things. This is a VERY funny, incredibly well-made film. It won the Oscar for best animated film in 1993. --SEJ • s******e@****.net 23/03/1995 14:50:16 UTC : At one of their animation festivals last year, New Community Cinema showed : a piece titled "The Wrong Trousers" which was, by far, the best thing there. I wanted to bust a gut after seeing that piece!!! I forgot who the villian was. Was it disguised as a chicken or something? Giant robot trousers...hehe. --Glen
