     So has anyone else read Greag Benford's _Furious Gulf_?

     This is the latest novel in the _Ocean of Night/Sea of Suns/Great Sky

     River/Tides_ series of books. I found it a good read, but in general it
     takes

     too long to get up to steam and then ends too soon! In _Great Sky_ and

     _Tides_, the point of view changes quite a bit and I found that
     interesting.

     _Furious_ on the other hand, is told almost exclusively from the point
     of view

     of Toby (Killeen's son). There's lots of interesting ideas and
     adventures,

     but there was something missing....
