ALT.SF4M Zelasny's: Chronomaster • d********t@***.com 12/04/1996 00:00:000 UTC For those Amber fans out there, which sadly may only be me, since I remember when Darryl swiped the Forum copies, right after I recommended them to you all way back when, Capstone has just come out with a computer game called Chronomaster. I've played it and solved it, and I think it's one of the better adventure games out there. It's based on some of Roger Zelasny's books, dealing with immortality, time travel, space barouches, and pocket universes, and features the T.V. Beast, Ron Perlman, as Korda, the Chronomaster, with an extended cameo by Lt. Commander Data as "Milo," pretty much sounding exactly like the vengeful Lore. Compared to Zork, or even Colossal Cave, the graphics are excellent, and the decent thing about the game is most puzzles have alternate solutions, neither one of which is better or worse to try. For example, an orange door might need an orange key, but the game lets you bash it in with your hammer, too. --Danny--
