ALT.SF4M Did they cancel Reboot?!? • g*****o@k****.****t.net 23/04/1996 00:00:000 UTC I heard distrubing rumors that they might have cancelled the Reboot cartoon. I hope it's only a rumor. I really like that show. They are alwasy sneaking in other Science Fiction and Fantasy references into the show. Hell, one day they even showed a sprite that looked like Waldo! One episode even had Jake & Elwood from the Blues Brothers! Cool stuff! --Glen • a****4@f******.********n.ca 24/04/1996 00:00:000 UTC Glen (g*****o@k****.****t.net) writes: > I heard distrubing rumors that they might have cancelled the Reboot > cartoon. Well, the scoop from Vancouver BC, Canada, is that your stupid US stations have dropped the show. Luckily, it is produced in Canada, and will be continuing production, and be show in 24 countries around the world. Maybe I will be able to get down to ICON next year, and will bring along all the episodes you people down the States are missing. ttyl Farrell • s******j@**.com 24/04/1996 00:00:000 UTC In article <4llsqr$***@f******-****.********n.ca>, Farrell McGovern wrote: >Glen (g*****o@k****.****t.net) writes:   >> I heard distrubing rumors that they might have cancelled the Reboot   >> cartoon. "Reboot" is a pretty hot show, it has toy tie-ins, and beats the shit out of 90% of what's out on Saturday morning, creativity wise. Alas, the local ABC affiliate does not carry ANY of the ABC kid stuff on Saturday mornings, so I can't watch Reboot, or "Bump in the Night." So I watch "The Tick" and "Felix the Cat" instead. (THAT's one twisted show!) -- +-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-+ ***@***.com ~ s*****s@a*****.***u.edu ~ s******j@**.com http://www.ini.cmu.edu/~sjones/ • p*******x@p***.****i.com 25/04/1996 00:00:000 UTC On 24 Apr 1996 18:44:43 GMT, Farrell McGovern (a****4@F******.********n.CA) somehow managed to write: : Well, the scoop from Vancouver BC, Canada, is that your stupid US : stations have dropped the show.
