ALT.SF4M Civilization ][ • g*****o@l**.****t.net 31/05/1996 00:00:000 UTC For all you Civilization freaks out there [Stefan & Tog to name a few], you have to get your hands on Civilization 2. For the past few nights, I had to drag myself to bed at 2am. It's even more addicitve then before. Here are some new features; --More World Wonders [Statue of Liberty...] --More City Improvements [Supermarkets, Stock Exchanges,...] --You can purchase spies [Better then Diplomats, then can Poison the water supply of enemy cities or plant nuclear bombs!] --More Military Troops [Archers, Alpine Troops, Elephants, Riflemen, Marines, Paratroopers, Cruise Missles, Helicopters, Aegis Cruisers just to name a few.] --More City Defenses [SAM Missle Sites and Beach Fortress] --Cleaner Cities [Sewer Systems, Superhighways, Solar Power,...] --Engineers [After you reach certain technology level, your Settlers turn into Engineers. They work a lot faster and then can do more. They can double Irigate a farm hex to produce more food. Multiple Engineers in the same hex can work on the same project to complete it faster! They can also build Airports.] There is far too much to post about this. It's better if you purchase the game to find out more. Civ-2 is an A++ in my book. --Glen • k******d@d*****i.com 01/06/1996 00:00:000 UTC In article <4omvi9$***@r****.****t.net>, g*****o@l**.****t.net (Glen) writes: > For all you Civilization freaks out there [Stefan & Tog to name a few], > you have to get your hands on Civilization 2.
