  High Power Rocket Launch, July 27

     I saw a rocket launch on the forum activity schedule.

     This is probably the LIARS high-power launch. I guess Jeff Glass

     clued people in.

     If you're used to Estes kits, you're in for a real treat at this

     launch. The field and waiver can accomodate up to "I" motor flights.

     An "I" motor is 32 times more powerful than a "D" class motor.

     Bring $5 if you want to launch models. This is for field insurance.

     Long Island Expressway (495) east to exit 71, go north on Edwards Ave.

     Go about 1.5 miles and make a left on Middle Country Rd. (Rt 25), go

     about 1.2 miles and look for a large sign at building (address #4195),

     make left into driveway near building at field.

     Note: if you go past Grumman you went too far!! The field is next to

     Grummans' east perimeter fence.

     Call LIARS Prefect, Ray Carlino, for info on launch status, weather,

     etc. at 516-262-0238

     I am going to try very hard to be there! I have not seen my rocket

     buddies for six months of so. I'd also like to visit 4m folks

     that afternoon.
