     I caught the last segment of the Smashing Pumpkins video "Tonight,
     Tonight."

     Very weird! It's a take off of pioneer SF filmmaker George Melies' (SP?)

     work. Very "steampunk" too!

         So that's where the name of the steamship (S.S. Melles) comes from!

         Personally, I most like the video because it's true to the charm of
         the

         era. (The band members look like they've been absorbed (by Landru)
         in

         them prehistoric threads they're wearing, and given their natural

         freakiness).
