     I asked the AOL newsgroup manager to give this group a description
     (Stony

     Brook Science Fiction Forum). So we'll get fewer jackasses from that

     corner of cyberspace.

         Some commercial services which provide direct connections to the
         internet

         without adding services of their own (i.e. unlike AOL, Compu$erve,
         Genie, etc.)

         also provide lists, e.g.:

         alt.binaries.pictures.erotica: Megabytes of copyright violations

         (taken from a listing on a friend's account). Is there some way we
         can send

         our description to those services as well? People with Compu$erve
         and Genie

         accounts can contact their managers as well.
