     Ungh. NBC just showed a lengthy "trailer" for this fall series.

     The few episodes of X Files I've seen had good production values,
     acting,

     and some class, but this looks like hyper-derivative drek. I bet it will

     take much advantage of The Idiot Plot.

     But, huh-huh, like the special effects are rilly good. So, it's cool to

     watch. And it really shows how the government is hiding things from us,

     you know?

         Hey dude, maybe they'll show one of those Xist Pleasure Saucers that
         the

         goverment has moth-balled out west. I can see the Shadow of the
         Stark

         Hand of Removal approaching us. Are you game to go on a holy crusade
         down

         to Texas and await their arrival? Not to long after that, the Stark
         Fist

         will smite our world. Uh, huh-huh-huh-huh, like I'm serious man. Do
         you

         want to be their on that glorious July 5th morning and await our
         ticket

         and get our butts off this rock? Then we'll score with the Prairy
         Squid!
