ALT.SF4M Back from Jack's • m*******e@a****.***u.edu 27/08/1996 00:00:000 UTC I am back after a week of camping out in upstate New York with Jack Devine & various members of his family. (Well, OK, 5 days of camping and 3 days of watching videos and playing with the computer.) The skies up there are great; the Milky Way really socks you in the eye, and you can see far more stars than here in New Joisey where the sky is a bright mess. Jack & Mary & their kid, Jim, are doing well, but Gloversville, NY is not exactly the cultural capitol of the world; there's no equivalent to the Forum up there and Jack now has to drive for an hour to get to the nearest library which carries Aviation Leak. Jack would not object violently were Forumites to occasionally write to him to say hello (at least, that's the strong impression I got). --- Brian So I went into this restaurant and said "I'll have the french toast." The waitress lifted a glass and said "Long live Mitterand!" Hmm, when you make french toast, do you have to use your tongue? • j********o@***.com 28/08/1996 00:00:000 UTC In article <4vu03o$**@g*****.***u.edu>, m*******e@a****.***u.edu (Brian McGuinness) writes: >Hmm, when you make french toast, do you have to use your tongue? The French are a strange race: they kiss with their hands, and make babies with their feet... or something like that. Gorno Bully for Kevin D. Conod! "I LIKE Star Trekk!!"
