ALT.SF4M What are some of your Favorite SF... • g*****o@k****.****t.net 24/09/1996 00:00:000 UTC I was wondering what are some people's favorite episodes from Science Fiction series? Also, which series do you wish they would bring back? I myself would like to see Alien Nation brought back as a series. Every half-year or so, they put out an Alien Nation "made-for TV" movie. I've liked them all so far. Now I get to watch the re-runs of Alien Nation on The Sci-Fi Channel. --Glen • p*******x@p***.****i.com 27/09/1996 00:00:000 UTC Glen (g*****o@k****.****t.net) somehow managed to write: : I was wondering what are some people's favorite episodes from Science : Fiction series? Most shows, I'm afraid, really aren't all that memorable from down the road when you haven't seen them in a while. OTher than the ones that are memorably BAD, like every episode of Space:1999 -- 73 de Dave Weingart KB2CWF "Can you find the Valium? mailto:p*******x@****.com Can you bring it soon? mailto:p*******x@e******.*********n.edu Lost Johnny's out there http://www.liii.com/~phydeaux Baying at the Moon" -- Hawkwind BY SENDING UNSOLICTED, COMMERCIAL SPAM EMAIL TO THIS ADDRESS, YOU HEREBY AGREE TO RECEIVE UP TO 20 MEGABYTES OF RANDOM CORE DUMP INFORMATION. • s******j@**.com 28/09/1996 00:00:000 UTC In article <529711$***@r****.****t.net>, Glen wrote: >I was wondering what are some people's favorite episodes from Science >Fiction series? There's less of a chance that they'll burn out. I loooove Max Headroom, especially the episodes 'War' which was about manufacturing news events for public consumption, the episode on censorship, and the unaired episode on genetically engineered little geniuses.... "Cathy, I'm tired of being the one who has to feel guilty, and make concessions. Also, the sex really didn't work for me. Buck, you're not a Tectonese, and never could be: you're a freak, a genetically engineered, boring, docile worker drone who would probably disgust and terrify a real Tectonese. All of you: the reason we humans have so many 'hang ups' about sex is that we have an ounce of class. If my people had spent a century on a slave ship, without privacy or property, being born, eating, crapping, breeding, and dying in public, under the overseer's lash, we'd probably act like animals too, without dignity or propriety, but fortunately, my people have been free a long time. I guess you can take the slave out of the ship, but you can't take the ship out of the slave. And your relatives back on Tecton would think the same about you. They haven't come for you because you're not part of them." Gorno • g*****o@j******.****t.net 30/09/1996 00:00:000 UTC : Yeech!
