     Well, I recently sent out the spammiest email I've ever sent. It's

     target: The eternal membership of the Science Fiction Forum. If you

     did *NOT* receive this wonderous piece of useless mail, then you

     *SHOULD* read what follows. I'm working on re-vamping the forum

     web page, here's the mail I've sent out so far.

     I'd also like to thank everyone who's responded so far. I've received

     a fairly decent response level. It's nice to see people being active to
     *any*

     degree these days. Another point, I definitely think I've passed the
     bridge

     over to "Grumpy Old Forumite". :) I'm only 21, damnit, and I've found
     my-

     self bitching about 'those damn kids'. This isn't right! Waaaahhhhh! ;)

     Here goes the spammage that I recently sent out:

     Well, as someone suggested in email, I'm asking you,

     the past, present, and future membership of the Forum for help.

     Some of you know me, some of you don't, some of you would like

     to use me as subject matter in various experiments. I'm

     John "Skippy" Reddy. Recently resigned treasurer of the forum,

     archiver of alt.sf4m, maintainer of the Forum Web Site at

     http://www.sf4m.org and all around fun guy. I need *your* help

     on several things.

     1) When replying to this email, do *NOT* group-reply, or reply-all.

     This is a *very* large list, and I don't want to start a spam-fest.

     I repeat, when replying make sure you do *NOT* respond to all.

     2) I'm trying to consolidate the email list, and the web page list,

     etc, for the Forum. Please respond to this email with the following

     information:

     Name & Nickname(s)

     Email Address(es)

     URL of Web Page(s)

     2-3 lines of text for what you would like to have listed under

     your entry in the forum's web page.

     If you don't want to be listed, please send me an email saying "Don't

     list me". You can be as vulgar about it as you like.

     4) If you know of someone not on the web page (again,
     http://www.sf4m.org),

     but you think should, or would want to be listed, please send the same

     information as above.

     5) When replying to this email, do *NOT* group-reply, or reply-all.

     6) Take a look at the web page. It's dull. All I've got to show for a

     decent page is what I get for The Road (which is turning out nicely on

     the web I might add). Please, I want YOUR INPUT. This is The Science

     Fiction Forum web page, not "Skippy's View Of the Science Fiction
     Forum".

     News, views on life, on science fiction, art, graphics, cool links. Do

     You want your own little niche in the Forum Pages? Send me the content,

     and I'll put it up. You don't need to know HTML, Just give me the
     article

     or whatever, and I'll web-ify it for you.

     7) When replying to this email, do *NOT* grou . . . I think you get the

     point by now. :)

     8) I apologize for those that this mail annoys. Keep literacy alive,
     keep

     your thoughts in the sky, and beware the shadows, the move when you're
