     My account on io.com just got email from a creep selling child porn.

     It was from an aol account; probably a "disposable" account set up for

     one of those mass mailings to addresses glommed from usenet postings.

     I reported the schmuck to p*********r@***.com, but I doubt it will do

     much good.

     I REALLY think it's time to set up "alt.scifi4m" or something like that;

     I'm really getting tired of wading through perv stuff.

         AOL cancelled the account already, and the FBI is looking into this.

         This won't help stop this sort of spam (although it might stop the

         clueless posters who think this is a sex group). They get a list of

         addresses for anyone who's ever posted on USENET, regardless of
         which

         groups they've posted to.
