     Lisa has a lump in her throat almost the size of a golf ball. The lump
     is

     from thyroid cancer. She will have at least her thyroid gland removed in

     a couple of weeks.

     Lisa had a difficult time during the needle biopsy of her lump last

     Friday. She developed pulmonary edema, which cleared up after the

     administration of a diuretic. Lisa's surgery will probably have

     unpleasant complications.

     Those of us who know Lisa love her. Lisa is blind, and has a variety of

     other health problems. She was very much a Forumite. Lisa would greatly

     enjoy receiving supportative e-mail at l******r@c******l.net. Any

     distractions we can give Lisa at this time will be much appreciated.

         Oh, my.

         Thank you for the update. I was wondering how the Warners were doing

         just the other week. It's easy to lose track of people when they

         don't post or live nearby.
