  Moving to Bay Shore

     I'll be moving to Bay Shore soon.

     Since I don't drive, I was wondering if there is any convenient public

     transportation available to Stony Brook so I could visit.

         Jerry, you've been away from LI too long! "Convenient public

         transportation?" You've gotta be kidding!

         I THINK the LIRR goes from Bay Shore to Ronkonkoma, and I THINK

         there's a bus from the Ronkonkoma station that connects with another

         bus that goes to Stony Brook, but don't quote me on that. You'd

         probably have much better luck begging for rides from Forumites on

         their way to the Brook.
