ALT.SF4M Forum T-Shirt • j********o@***.com 11/07/1997 00:00:000 UTC Just got my T-Shirt from Miss Beatnick (whise prompt service I commend). Not bad. A somewhat unambitious design resulting, however, in flawless execution. A shiny white, continuous print pattern, without much fine detail depicts a rocket ship curving away from a ringed planet, the ring bearing, in instituional lettering, our name (upon a black shirt). Lacks the slogan of the previous edition, about which I have mixed feelings: it did, in effect, declare "Hey, I'm a geek!" but had a certain potentious audacity. The choice of black for the shirt may not be the wisest, dandruff-wise, and the broad white latex-paint-like panels of the design look funny and will serve to nicely highlight the inevitable food stains Forumites are equally prone to. Anyway, pretty good, cheap (probably under cost), and thank goodness someone finally went and made one. I think I'll touch mine up with some stars, maybe a Keith Bros. style moon, and a shimmering Milky Way (I have a neat screen paint that produces a faint sheen of tiny glints which is ideal for this purpose).
