     Here is a great set of reports in how IBM is leading the way in
     developing

     CPUs for space missions;

     1) The flight computer in the Mars Pathfinder is a IBM RS/6000 CPU.

     2) IBM's CPU is being used for the future DEEP SPACE mission.

     There is also two stories about IBM scientists explaining about weak

     starlight and cosmic turbulence. Funny, where is Microsoft in all of
     this?

         Yawn. Microsoft is claiming to be the leader in all computer
         software and

         the "guiding" of hardware and driver companies by using their
         standard

         jackboot policies. If MS is such a hot shot in the computer world,
         how

         come none of their products are being used in the space programs in

         exploration vechicles? No room for error so they avoid anything to
         do with

         MS.
