     I mean "GATTACA" - I take a certain... hmm, Lisa? What's the opposite of

     shame? "Pride?" No, not that opposite. "Less shame?" Yeah, in that I

     perceived the point instantly when they floated the lettters apart in
     the promo.

     Saw Denise "Tasha Yar" Crosby on some morning show - she's done a

     documentary called "Trekkies" about con trash. I couldn't watch it (too

     embarassing) but it is amusing how she sort of turned the tables on her

     fans. Seems to have a nice attitude about 'em.

     Another Lame B5. I find those newscasts silly - they're very
     unconvincing

     somehow. And who told them that slowing down a dramatic scene and
     turning

     off the sound makes it more dramatic? Here's something I'd like to see:

     "Do we fire or not, sir? I need an answer now!" Long dramatic pause and

     close-up of Sheridan's troubled countenance, finally: "Open..." "Too

     late." "What?!" "While you were hamming for the camera and contemplating

     your destiny, the enemy got away. When I say 'now,' I mean NOW. It's a

     simple word: three letters... what's the problem? Jeez, what a jerk. Ok,

     fine, go run off to your slag girlfriend. Wuss."

     Yay!! Finally got my stupid little clock moving program to work! Now

     when I start up, the NumLock light goes off and the clock retreats to
     the

     upper right corner of the screen, just the way I like it.
