It's very natural feeling to sit and do work while Earth Final Conflict is playing away in the background. It's very difficult to explain. All I know is that I look up every once in a while and see something cool happening. Lets see...from what I've gathered, the show so far in its few episodes has a marvelously full background story. The actors seem competant and the overall plot of the show is interesting without being overly complicated. Basically, it's about aliens that came to Earth who are very self conscious about their image, causing some people to think that they've got some unmentioned hidden purpose. Anyway, the main character is our ambassador, if that's the correct word, to these aliens, and he works closely with them, while at the same time he tries to undo some of the damage that they do to individuals. The aliens appear to value groups far above individuals, so they have no qualms about doing away with individuals who threaten the link between the two races (them and the Humans). I've only really watched one episode avidly. Basically, the show seems to me really really good, but not that interesting. Kinda boring, sometimes. But I can watch it in the background. -JC (SF4MAC) --Join the SF4M 30th Anniversary team! • j********o@***.com 26/11/1997 00:00:000 UTC In article <659g71$dep$*@c****.****i.com>, p*******x@n***.****i.com (The Person Your Mother Warned You About) writes: >Was it really as bad as it looked? How come, on cop shows, they point a gun at the bad guy, tell him to 'freeze,' then when he turns to shoot them, they duck for cover! Then close in to tackle! Gorno I'm only leering on the outside- inside, I'm drooling!
