     Mein Gott. I hadn't put the name to the face until I saw her on a
     "Buttmaster"

     commercial last night. Oh well, they don't call B5 "The Institute for
     the

     Rehabilitation of B-movie Actors" for nothing. Her quote in the TV Guide
     is

     telling (viz a vis not having to hobble around on high heels like fellow
     space

     tail Jeri (7 of 9) Ryan): "... I don't like high heels under _any_

     circumstances, I fight them tooth and nail, even when I'm playing a
     hooker."

     Which is often. Actually, come to think of it, she wasn't bad in the

     highlander episodes I saw with her (as that Bronze Age lady).

     Apparently much of the crappyness (especially feminist nonsense) in the
     current

     Trek series are due to Ms. J. P. Farrell. Welcome to the galaxy where
     women

     are stronger than men (and cars explode!) When I see Major Kira deck a

     Cardassian, it really challenges my suspension of disbelief. It's like a
     bad

     gaming session sometimes.

     Here's an amusing parlor game: transpose Old Trek episode titles to
     dissimilar

     shows. Tonight - a very special Melrose Place: "A Taste of Armageddon,"

     followed by Aly McBeal: "The Return of the Archons."

         While I like Babylon 5, the only "mainstream" read "respectable"
         show Scoggins

         ever did was "The Colbys".

         One good thing about the war with the Dominion though. We finally
         see a white

         male Admiral who is not corrupt.
