     I read a short story about a baby that is born as a very old man (That's

     tough on the mother)!

     He lives through the life cycles of a person aged 80, 70, 60, etc.

     What is happening is that the person is actually getting younger, and

     eventually becomes an embro.

     What is the title of this sci-fi story and who is the author?

         Hyperion, by Dan Simmons has a character which moves in reverse time

         direction. Note it is only one of the "miajor" minors. The book

         actually convers 2 (or 4) volumes. #2 The Fall of Hyperion concludes

         the first part. A sequal starts with Endymonion and will finish with

         one I haven;t read yet. The name escapes me.
