     Well, I enjoyed my Christmastime visit to LI, but got sick almost as

     soon as I got home to Maryland. It was good to see those of you that I

     got to see, anyway.

     I dropped off a box of books and magazines for the Forum at JAM and

     Paula's (my second donation of 1997). Once again I'll need a letter

     from someone official (the Head Librarian, maybe) acknowledging my

     donation for the IRS.
