  SF4M Whitewater Rafting

     The Science Fiction Forum is going on a Whitewater Rafting trip on April

     5th. Money needs to be in to the Forum by March 18th to go with the

     group. The group rate is $31.00. Our check in time for the rafting is

     10:55 a.m., which means that people will be leaving from Stony Brook at

     about 7:15 a.m. The place that we are going to is in the Pocanos... the

     Lehigh River Gorge, with the Whitewater Challengers. Their website is

     them.

     If you are going, bring your student ID to get half price rates on wet

     suits. It will be $10 with the ID.

     The trip is about 4 1/2 hours of actual rafting time. Some people are

     leaving separately the night before, and staying in a hotel in the

     area. People who do not have rides should just ask at the Forum in

     order to arrange car pooling.
