     Not a bad couple of DS9's, actually (the ones with Division 10 (or
     whatever -

     another partial episode of Theatre of the Mind) and Sisko's attempt to
     trick

     the Rommys into the war). They could have tried to call in Divison 10 in
     the

     second one, and Star Fleet could surely have bettered a drunken forger!
     That

     episode reminded me of what the bad guy in Demolition Man said about the
     new

     world (largely unreprintable here) - the namby-pambyness of the 24th
     Century

     (and the preachyness and child-friendly mind-set of the writing) really

     undermines the attempt to do substantial episodes, like this could have
     been.

     On Voyager - did that alien shapechanger actually get to nail Torres?

         Just stumbled across an interview of Terry "Dax" Farrell on the
         Howard Stern TV

         show: she's a foul-mouthed whore!

         I was quite disappointed - no, not about that part! but... that darn
         Mickey

         Roarke - ruining things for the rest of us! Tawny Kittean, of all
         people, was

         on the immediately preceding episode, and behaved herself in a much
         more

         lady-like manner! (Kinda neat, even.)
