ALT.SF4M Lost In So-So • f*******e@***.com 27/04/1998 00:00:000 UTC I finally Lost In Space. I wasn't that impressed with it. I enjoyed the movie, but it didn't thrill me. I was disappointed that it was Lost In Time instead of Space. I like time travel stories, but it wasn't warranted for this movie. For one thing, I find it hard to accept the coincidence they just happened to come upon the wrecked ship sent to resue them some years hence from their getting lost. Plus, there's also the time paradox of the future Will Robinson's robot joining the crew. Since young will leaves the planet before he even begins the robot's new body, Will and Dr. Smith never remain on the planet. Hence, he wasn't there to build the time machine or complete the robot's body. I can accept the planet still breaking up due to a timequake, but the robot should have disappeared. They don't even mention taking care of Dr. Smith's spider sting to prevent his transformation, assuming they'd want to for their own safety. Jerry Katz
