  Flea Market Diner

     I was in a small Diner this evening and Heidi mentioned the plates
     looked

     like they came from a flea market. I suggested that this would make a
     good

     theme for a diner or restaurant: all plates, silverware, and decor could
     be

     purchased at a flea market. None of them would match and it would
     provide a

     little entertainment while the patrons waited for their food to be
     served:

     snickering at the "World's Greatest Dad" or "Dollywood" coffee mugs, the

     "Jack & Jill" salt & pepper shakers, the little glass swans or cats
     adorning

     the tables, dreadful lamps from the '60s, "Scooby Doo" jelly jar
     drinking

     glasses, ect.....

         That's a very cool idea.

         You'd have to have State Plates and redwood plaques from scenic
         spots

         (made in china), or course, plus a buzzing yellowed bakelite radio

         table.

         If I ever burn out on the computer industry I could go in for
         something like

         that as an investor I could go for something like that.

         Heck, my parents could probably equip a chain of the places.
