     Hey. Just for anyone in the Long Island area: I just got a whole slew

     of old records (the spinny kind -- they're kinda like big black compact

     discs) from the middle of the century, after I cleaned out my

     grandfather's old place. I was wondering if anyone wanted them, because

     it's an _awful_ shame to just chuck them. I'm also trying to give out

     an old 1978 VCR (which works pretty good with just a few quirks, AFAIK)

     instead of throwing it out. Aargh! Help me and take these things away

     from me so I don't have to feel bad about myself!!!!

         There are collectors who will give you money for those records. Or,
         if you

         are feeling lazy, give them to GoodWill. Do NOT just throw them
         away.

         If they are 78s, they are much more valuable.
