ALT.SF4M html question • Beatnik 04/01/1999 00:00:000 UTC I'm having trouble with the sf4m front page. I can't get the text not to appear right of the image on the main frame. This is happening in Netscape, I'm not sure if it is occuring on explorer. If someone knows the answer to this, please e-mail me the right thing to do. Thanks a lot. It looks ok to me in Microsoft Exploder (version 4.0). --Doc • j********o@***.com 06/01/1999 00:00:000 UTC In article <3*******.********5@p********h.com>, Beatnik writes: >I'm having trouble with the sf4m front page. The problem I find with it is that it's a Text Markup, not a Page Markup, Language: this may be your bug-bear as well (combined with a varying browser pane size). Every item is considered an element in a line of text, regardless of height, so it's difficult to force things to go exactly where you want. However, it sounds like all you need is a after the image to force the text onto the next row (note that I avoid the word "line!") Are you writing your own code or using a page designing utility? The latter probably gives you a better chance at getting the desired result. You might try using a tag, but I couldn't get that to work all the time either! Gorno "You can't prove that, Rusty!"
