HELLO!? hello?...h...e...l...l..o?... • God Fodder 26/01/1999 00:00:000 UTC Do people post here anymore? why do it seem so empty? I'm probably just making myself look like an idiot (nothing new), but this is the first time I've been on/to a newsgroup and either some regular cleaning has left this blankness or every 4mite who's online has abandoned the site. If someone sees this and I'm doing something wrong let me know why I don't see any postings. Share and Enjoy. -Jason • p*******x@****.com 26/01/1999 00:00:000 UTC One day in Teletubbyland, "God Fodder" said: >Do people post here anymore? why do it seem so empty? You are correct, JJ. There's no one posting. The usenet is completely empty. I have 2 news peering machines, and one news reading machine, with a combined storage capacity of over 100GB, and a total bandwidth consumption of about 5 megabits per second (a little more than 3 times a T1), and it's all dedicated to white noise... no content. Y'know, actually, now that I think about it, there is effectively no content. I intended to be sarcastic about it, but there really is so little useful content compared to the bandwidth used that it isn't funny... well... back to my ISP stuffs... -John "Skip" Reddy http://reddywhip.org • p*******x@****.com 29/01/1999 00:00:000 UTC Forum, count off! -- 73 de Dave Weingart KA2ESK There is no "never."
