     About a week ago, I tried to send e-mail to the sci/tech and main

     program coordinators for I-Con (through their web page), but no one

     has responded. IIRC, I tried to do this several months ago as well,

     with an equally d eafening silence back then. (I offered to do panels

     on medical stuff and/or fanac.)

     I'm planning to be at I-Con, so I guess I'll see many of you there. I

     probably won't be on any panels, though.

              I didn't put enough money aside to cover my to cover the taxes
              on my

              Roth IRA conversion, so I-Con isn't in the picture for me this
              year.
