     The most recent Futurama (where Fry moves in with Bender) was great! "We

     live underground, with the mutants! A little fire will teach them to

     their distance!" My observation about their not being able to mine the

     everyday like the Simpsons was based on the first, expository episode;
     now

     that they've gotten past that, they can do the everyday without being
     limited

     in how outrageous they can get - the Simpsons can joke about mutants,
     but

     Futurama can have them as regular characters. Every week can be like the

     Halloween Specials!

              I was a little blanded out by the second episode (moon park),
              and only

              mildly amused by number three (room mates). But the one last
              night, with

              the bizarre wildlife and Zap's alien batman sneering in disgust
              and the

              little critter that shits degenerate matter . . . that's cool.
              Almost a

              role-playing scenario.

              I found a page somewhere that lists the alien alphabet letters,
              with

              attempts at translation.

              Next week: Killbots!
