     well, this is -(the) Jim for yous who dont know...anyway, ive been on
     this for

     a week now, and there is more junk mail and adverts on this thing than
     actual

     messages...whats up with that? anyother newsgroup i was on never had
     this much

     crap!!! iknow i could use a filter, but i find those dont do too good of
     a

     job, unless i am just using then wrong.

         No, things are a little slow right now. Although I haven't seen much
         in

         the way of spam this week, really.

         Just back from Concertino in Massachussetts...good con, if you're a
         filker,

         boring as hell, I'm sure, if you're not.

         I just got back from Readercon. Harlan was in fine form.

         There was a smallish group of filkers there during the day
         (Concertino

         tourists), so you wouldn't have been alone.
