6th Sense • Anthony Matranga 19/08/1999 00:00:000 UTC Did anyone else here see the film? What did you think of it? Anyone else see tonight's Crusade? Now there's something you won't see on Trek. JMS has some really interesting ideas and knows how to set up a long term plot. I also appreciate his attempt to create character's with depth in this series. I think his main problem tends to be his insistance of beating you to death with the moral of the story. He needs to learn subtlety. A good writer shows rather than tells. -Tony • p*******x@****.com 23/08/1999 00:00:000 UTC One day in Teletubbyland, "Gary J. The price tag on this movie marathon is reely frightening. Do any of you guys have these movies on tape? Right now, I'm looking at...pizza, drinks and snacks for almost two days of movies (if I'm not mistaken); the timing should be easy though, since we'll have to wait for 6th sense to come out on video--which might take a while. Also, while I might be persuaded to cover part of this event, my bed is in Nassau, and I already know that I can hear its calls from the Rocky River. -Allan- Gary J. The night I watched it, there was a sneak preview of a very similar movie at Roosevelt Field. The two movies had almost identical plots, except that in one, there's no dead psychiatrist. Oops, maybe I shouldn't have written that...oh well. not in the mood to back up. Later!!! -Allan- • Gary J. About ten minutes into the movie, at the "crucial" point, I knew exactly what the surpise would be and was confirmed correct. Thanks a lot. Almost ruined the movie for me. Couldn't they just keep quiet about it as in The Crying Game? The ending would have meant much more. Jerry
