  Is anyone from stony brook actually here?

     I'm a new pediatrics resident at the hospital, found the web pages for

     the sf4m and the newsgroup, just don't seem to be having much luck

     finding people to do sci-fi type stuff with. For example, there's a

     showing of Princess Mononoke (Mononoke Hime) on Sept. 26 at the NYC

     film festival . . . that and I'd just like to figure out what sf4m

     does and is doing this year . . .

         You should come down to the Forum and ask if anyone is interested.

         We are in the west side of campus, in the basement of the Harriman

         Building

         room 027.

         I'm not anywhere near Stony Brook, but I was a Forumite as an

         undergrad at SUSB, and again while doing my preventive medicine

         residency there. Of course, I had a lot more free time than you
         will.

         (No on-call.) Anyway, I'm sure someone can tell you when the Forum

         meetings are held, when there are movie nights, group viewings of

         various sf tv programs, field trips, etc., and maybe point you to
         the

         Forum's webpage. Welcome!
