     Princess Mononoke

     Normally I don't go in for anime. Even the semi-mainstream ones that get

     into release here just don't do it for me. But _Pricess Mononoke_ got so

     many good reviews that I just hadda.

     Not bad at all; cool, nicely ambiguous Gods of Old versus Modernism
     story,

     with a exiled and cursed prince in the lead and a cute chick raised by

     a wolf goddess as the love interest. The art and animation nicely brings

     to life funky Japanese animist lore. Funny and diverse and complex

     characters too.

         At least there was a nuclear war before the story begins?
