ALT.SF4M Forgive NY, America, please? • h*****l@**.com 09/11/2000 06:38:54 UTC Our country who art our home forgive us our sins for we know not what we do. Forgive us our fallacies, forgive us our inequities, forgive us for being blindly stupid. As we with great bravado cheered on a Subway Series and boastful pride have a Yankee threepeat, we overlooked our own shameful behavior. Forgive New York, benevolent and patient America. Forgive us for sending Hillary Clinton to the Senate. The worst part about Senator Hillary's election is that in order for her to win by that much of a margin, she had to get the Jewish vote. For the past few weeks the Palestinians have been imitating '60s activists. If a refugee from the '60s can win the Jewish vote anyway, the Palestinians know they can get away with it and will be more '60s than ever. Wait for them to link arms, sing "All we are saying is give peace a chance," burn down their neighborhoods, and blame Israel for homelessness. That might be endurable, except we can expect Hillary's voters to put pressure on Israel. The best part of the election is how much it resembled Monty Python. Let's see, the Extremely-Silly Party split the Silly vote... • **@***.com 30/11/2000 00:56:23 UTC HADSIL (h*****l@**.com) wrote: : Our country who art our home forgive us our sins for we know not what we do. : Forgive us our fallacies, forgive us our inequities, forgive us for being : blindly stupid. : As we with great bravado cheered on a Subway Series and boastful pride have a : Yankee threepeat, we overlooked our own shameful behavior. : : Forgive New York, benevolent and patient America. : Forgive us for sending Hillary Clinton to the Senate.
