     The January / February 2001 issue of _Time Digital_ (an innocuous

     "things you can buy, and articles about things you can buy in six

     months" sort of consumer mag) has a flip-side that appears to be from

     2026.

     Two of the pieces started out being written by me. Guest editor Bruce

     Sterling, and then Time Digital's own editors, rewrote them heavily.

     (But I got credit and a check so hey...)

     Look for a review of a website featuring semisapient Meerkats, and a bit

     about a electric car charging station chains' lousy remodeling.

     Buy a copy today . . . no doubt it'll be the funniest thing 'round

     until Bush's first State of the Unions Abbress.
