  A Valentine's Poem

     My Lady Love,

     eyes sad and wise

     Lies in the Moon-

     light by my side.

     She meets my gaze

     her smile bright,

     And quick as the Moon that

     sails the clouds this night.

     I draw her close,

     my heart to warm,

     She lays her head,

     my arm, upon.

     My Angel, smiling,

     closes her eyes,

     My Lady Love,

     still sad and wise.

     With careful fingers,

     her hair I stroke,

     And down, to cup

     the ear below.

     I brush soft bangs

     back from her face,

     And gently,

     her pretty cheek I trace.

     I squeeze her shoulder,

     caress her arm,

     Her shy pajamas

     are soft and warm.

     She nuzzles closer;

     a pixie grin,

     What a blessing

     in my life she's been.
