John Madonia was once radio co-host, and a book and film reviewer for "Destinies" and for a while held a similar role for "Faster Than Light Radio" on WUSB. He was also involved with Stony Brook's Science Fiction Forum and I-Con. John, his wife, Paula, and children, Stephanie and Johnathan are native Long Islanders. He works as a Facilities Manager at Stony Brook University.
