MAVWAS is a theory of social interactions by Fred Coulter.

Standing for "Men Are Vicious, Women Are Stupid", the theory asserts that men are vicious, while women, by contrast, are stupid. It purports to explain why some perfectly attractive, accomplished, and pleasant women remain with unattractive, boorish, and abusive men.

The women stay with the men because they are stupid. The men are vicious because the stupid women permit them to be.

Come on, you've seen this, and will again. Call it MAVWAS, honor Fred's insight, and move along.
